Monona Farmers’ Market starts May 7-October 29

The Monona Farmers’ Market launches its 14th season on Sunday, May 7 with the annual “Roll Out the Market” event. Enjoy sweet rolls, compliments of Stella’s Bakery, while they last.

Every Sunday through October approximately 25 high quality vendors bring fresh produce, meat, cheese, eggs, plants and fresh cut flowers, honey, lemonade and cafe drinks, bakery goods, soaps and lotions and other specialty items.

Watch for special events throughout the season. Coming soon are “Marigolds for Mom” on Mother’s Day and “Pop in for a Treat” on Father’s Day. Need gift ideas for those holidays? How about MFM gift certificates! You can purchase them at the opening market and throughout the season.

Master Gardeners are at the market the first and third Sunday each month from the opening through September. Stop by for expert gardening advice and yard tips.

EBT is available.

Pets are not allowed at the market.

The market, located at Ahuska Park, 400 East Broadway offers free parking, surrounding park and playground. Hours are from 9:00am-1:00pm every Sunday through October 29.
