MESBA’s Earth Day Cleanup is on Friday, April 21

UPDATE: 30 bags of garbage were collected on the Earth Day Cleanup. Thanks to the 23 volunteers who came out to help our Monona/East Side neighborhoods look their best! 



Saturday, April 22 is Earth Day! For over 47 years, people have been celebrating Earth Day and the movement continues with the help of Monona East Side Business Alliance’s members on the Friday before Earth Day. This volunteer effort is being spearheaded by MESBA’s Business Leads groups.

Currently, MESBA members are being sought as volunteers for a two-hour period to help with the cleanup. Bags and latex gloves will be provided. The cleanup is Friday, April 21 from 2-4pm. After the cleanup, volunteers will meet at Mr. Brews Taphouse in Monona to continue the networking/team building experience.
