Mark Richardson & Gregg Potter to Lead Sustain Dane’s Badger Bioneers

Madison, WI – Sustain Dane is excited to announce two local champions who will be leading participants through a day of learning, connection, and inspiration at Sustain Dane’s Badger Bioneers Conference on Wednesday, November 29.

Mark Richardson, a Sustain Dane Board Member, will be EmCeeing the event with his contagious energy, humor, and thoughtful perspective. Gregg Potter, founder of Project Kinect, will facilitate hands-on activities that will challenge participants to think outside the box. Through their leadership, participants will gain new skills, relationships, and perspectives to become effective change-makers and build a more sustainable future — together.

Badger Bioneers EmCee

Mark Richardson is President of Unfinished Business and CEO of GigBlender. Mark is a Chicago-area native with 25 years of experience creating new business models. His latest entrepreneurial effort –  GigBlenderTM – is a company on a mission to help organizations build a better workforce with each new hire. Mark is, by nature, a connector of people and a team-builder as was evident during his tenure at the Urban League where he previously served as Vice President of Economic & Workforce Development. Mark’s passion for Diversity & Inclusion started as a youth and has now grown to drive his work in both corporate and civic arenas.

Badger Bioneers Head Facilitator

Gregg Potter is a writer, activist, public speaker, and the founder of Project Kinect. Potter, a Wisconsin native, recently returned to Madison after spending more than a decade on the west coast and abroad. His life has been focused on offering his tools and gifts to others. In 2014, Potter received his Masters in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service in Arkansas. The experience catapulted him into a new reality of tangible ways he can create meaningful change. From tornado relief in Alabama, to working with corporations to become more effective in their communities, to fighting for human rights of the marginalized in South Africa, Potter strives to be an effective tool for other people doing social good. Project Kinect was created because of an unfulfilled need that Potter frequently encountered from individuals and organizations. His hope is that we can all accept each other, work together, and take responsibility for ourselves to create real sustainable change that benefits everyone.

We are so looking forward to spending an uplifting and transformative day with Mark and Gregg. They will guide participants through a meaningful program of engaging speakers, interviews of local awardees, networking, national keynote videos, interactive skill-building, and more.
